VoiceThreads were the theme of the day today, good and bad!  But you weathered the storm of tech issues and created fine, Fast Five presentations anyway!  Make sure you have gone to the google doc and viewed/commented on three VoiceThread presentations from your own class and three from any other class by Tuesday!

Don't forget the Chapters 1-3 Quiz on Tuesday!  Be reading and studying!  It will be a TIMED ASSESSMENT! Tonight's homework is to finish up and begin commenting on VoiceThreads.

We explored the English colonies in America today in teams then summarized the information we learned through group presentations.  We also discussed last night's reading on the experiences of early settlers in the southern colonies.  Tonight, your homework is to read the article on antinomianism linked HERE and answer the 5 questions included in the reading.  You should also be reading your textbook chapters 1-3 and studying the chapter vocabulary for the quiz on Tuesday!

Today we discussed the differences between the Chesapeake Bay and Massachusetts Bay colonies using a variety of activities including some "mythbusting" notes and examination of primary sources and data.  The data used in Skills block is now loaded on the "Skills Block" folder under "Class Agendas"- "Mr. Hutchison"- "SkillsBlock."

Homework for tonight is to finish any of the second content block activity you had left at the end of class, complete the webquest from yesterday and read the article at this link and be ready to discuss tomorrow:
