My dear students,
I am genuinely sorry to miss you today.  I have been sick all weekend and don't want to get y'all sick, too.  
In class today, please complete the following:
20 minutes Ch 4 quiz
20 minutes Colonial Data and Maps questions 
30 minutes compare and contrast the Enlightenment with the Great Awakening
Finally, answer this question using complete sentences for each sub part.  
•Answer parts a, b, & c below:
•A: assess the extent to which the Enlightenment affected Colonial American society.
•B: assess the extent to which the Great Awakening affected Colonial American society
•C: Explain how one or both movements contributed to the development of the separation of church and state in America
This is the format that your free response questions on class exams and the AP exam SAQ will be.
Be prepared to discuss tomorrow.
