Backwards schedule today with PreACT testing going on, but we still got a lot done! We looked at the Great Depression by first exploring its effects on various parts of the country, followed by an examination of two different Fireside Chats by Roosevelt outlining his approach to addressing the problems of the Depression. We finished up by analyzing the public reaction to the Fireside Chats as expressed in letters to the president and media reaction in the form of political cartoons.
Don't forget that tomorrow is your next scored discussion! Chapters 26 & 27 are due next week and next Thursday will be Exam 3. H
