We started with a quiz over Chapter 22 today, followed by our last day of discussion on the Gilded Age.  We focused on three primary areas of historical inquiry and examined each with a specific case study.  We started by discussing the African American Civil Rights movement by reading excerpts from Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. DuBois.  We followed this up with an analysis of the Anti-Suffragist movement and ended with a discussion over the legacy of the Seneca Falls convention.

The reading selection for next Tuesday's scored discussion is now posted under Period 7 on the website.  Make sure to complete the usual pre-write activity as well.
