So you wrote your second in-class LEQ today!  We will get straight to grading those and do our best to have detailed feedback next Thursday for you to take into your final LEQ next Friday!

This weekend you need to tackle a few things.  First of all, Chapter 12 is due Monday and Chapter 11, sections 11.2-11.5 are due on Tuesday.  You also need to read the attached article by historian Jill Lepore discussing the nature of that expanding democracy we discussed this past week.  We will also tackle a discussion over that on Monday.

Tha last item you need to begin working on is the reading and pre-write for your first scored discussion, which will be next Thursday.  The reading selection is posted under Period 5, as are the directions for the pre-write, a student sample, and the standards we will use to score your participation in the discussion.  We will be explaining more next week, but let us know if you have questions.

One last item:  We want to welcome our new APUSH team member, Mr. Degermanjian who joined us today replacing Mr. Greenblatt who moved back to Michigan earlier this year!  We are excited to have Mr. Degermanjian with us!  His classes may pursue a slightly different schedule the next little bit as he gets you back on track, so some of the info in the blog regarding what we did each day may differ slightly for his classes for a bit.
