December 2, 2019

12/2/2019

We finished up our exploration of the Civil Rights era today.  We started out refreshing our memories after our break with a discussion over the MLK & Malcolm X selections you read last Tuesday.  We then did a little DBQ practice and coupled with creating historical arguments based on documents related to the question of the effects of the use of violence in the Civil Rights Movement.  We finished up the day by working with stations focusing on seven different sub-populations in the US and their struggles for equality during the Civil Rights era and beyond.

Chapter Readings #4 are due tomorrow, Readings #5 on Thursday, and Readings #6 on Friday.
