9/18/2019

We began today with a debrief over the selection on Republican Motherhood which you read for homework last night.  We then proceeded to explore the events leading up to the creation of the constitution by analyzing Shay's Rebellion in terms of how it is usually told in textbook narratives and then analyzing some action of the early governments of the United States, specifically the acts of the first congress under the constitution and the treaties negotiated during the years immediately following the Revolutionary War.

Tonight you need to finish up your notes over Chapter 8a.
