We spent the day today exploring the reactions to the early waves of immigration prior to the Civil War and interpreting some political cartoons associated with Andrew Jackson's presidency.  At the end of class, you got a summative activity over this time period asking you to identify six cause and effect steps  between the election of 1800 and the Trail of Tears.  You need to finish that for homework tonight. Also, we assigned the Nat Turner webquest, which you can find under Period 4.  That webquest will be due next Wednesday.  Don't forget to be reading and analyzing the selections for Monday's scored discussions as well!  You can find these under Period 5!
