After taking the Chapter 18 quiz today, we completed a new style DocBlock analysis of Social Darwinism by William Graham Sumner.  We ended class by analyzing some images by Jacob Riis and Lewis Hine exposing the conditions in cities and factories during the Gilded Age.

Tomorrow is the mini-discussion over the reading selection by Howard Zinn. No pre-write is required, but be prepared to ask questions and discuss!
