We started looking at the Great Depression today with some introductory notes and discussion on the background, causes, and early events of the Depression.  We then examined two of Roosevelt's Fireside Chat broadcasts and finished up analyzing some letters to the president written after each of the broadcasts.  

We will continue the examination of the Great Depression tomorrow with our 5th Scored Discussion followed by a SkillBlock with some political cartoons.  Don't forget to come prepared for tomorrow's discussion with your pre-discussion written reflection!
