Well, first day back today! Thanks for the welcome back today guys! I appreciate your patience this past week while I was out for treatment and the substitutes rotating in and out. I'm looking over the materials that were left piled on my desk and formulating an impression of what was completed while I was gone and what holes need to be patched before we move on. You WILL have your next chapter quiz on Monday, covering chapters 11-13, so be studying up for that. You also will need to turn in your DocBlock and SkillBlock portions of your binders tomorrow so i can grade those over the weekend. If you were absent at any timeso far this year, make sure you check the blog for that day and then check the period materials for any Blocks you might be missing. The last DocBlock assignment I will be looking for is the Washington's Farewell. If you turned that in to the sub, I'll find it there, don't worry. Timelines won't be due until Tuesday (BONUS ~ ask your parents why that's funny to an 80's kid!) I'm attaching a copy of the timeline form and a slide with the requirements. I'll come up with the plan for anything else funky from the past week and let you know tomorrow. As for today's class, I tried to give you a quick primer/refresher on the Washington & Adams presidencies and the election of 1800 and explore some continuities in American history as well. We also talked about the requirements for AP Short Answer questions. You will find a slide with those tips attached as well and tomorrow you will have a practice, timed AP Short Answer question in class. I would review the "Ograbme" cartoon at the bottom of Period 3 materials tonight, "wink, wink, nudge, nudge." Enjoy the cold rainy evening! the first of many this year! Hot Chocolate weather is upon us! :) H
