After the quiz on chapters 14-16 today, we started our period 5 material by introducing the topic of Manifest Destiny. We also began our discussion over writing a DBQ essay which we will continue tomorrow. Tonight's homework is to be working on the reading and reflection for the first Scored Discussion later this week! The reading selection and the directions for your written reflection are under period 5, as well as a sample student reflection and the discussion rubric.
