Today we took the Chapters 11-13 Quiz then examined a primary source that gave us a snapshot of American Identity in 1800.  We spent a considerable portion of class catching up on information missed during my absence then ended by working on thesis statements (4th) and our 2-minute drill process which we will continue refining this week.  The two minute drill today was to use any of the possible response choices on your two-minute menu to respond to the objective for today:  Students will assess the importance of the War of 1812 in forming an American identity.  If you didn't finish in class, turn it in tomorrow on your way into class.  From tomorrow on, these will be turned in BEFORE you leave each day! :)
