Today we introduced the Progressive era by looking at some of the issues America faced in the Gilded age then evaluating the approaches to create change used by muckrakers and progressive reformers.

Don't forget that Chapter 21 is due tomorrow.  Also, the online portion of yesterday's scored discussion is due Monday.

There is a mastery opportunity this weekend if you are interested and have the time available.  The 21st annual American Indian Heritage Celebration will be held in downtown Raleigh in and around the NC Museum of History.  I'm including a link to information about the event below.  If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, attend at least part of the event, take a selfie there and then return to the blog Saturday evening for details on the follow-up assignment.  It will be entered as an extra assignment in the Quizzes category in the gradebook. As with any mastery assignment, it is all or nothing.  If you are unable to go to the event this weekend, we will post a replacement opportunity next Monday.  You cannot do both for extra points, only one assignment will be entered into the gradebook.
