Nearing the close of our first week together!  Today we finished up our DocBlock guided directions and our analysis of a primary source from Bartolomeo de las Casas.  You can find the document itself in the Period Materials under Period 1. We also discussed the Columbian Exchange, its extent and some of it's outcomes. In Mr. Hutchison's class we also discussed the 2-Minute Drill procedure.  The question choices  for tonight's reflection are below:

•What did you experience in class today that increased your understanding of today’s objective?
-OR-
•In what ways has the Columbian Exchange affected your daily routine so far today?

I believe that social media has a both positive and negative impact on our average understanding in history. Social Media can give a great way to spread news and your own beliefs on what happen but this can be negative because not everyone is right and some post on social media can be very biased, so you only get on perspective on history.
