LEQ 1 Prompt

Your first LEQ will be tomorrow, Friday, September 27.  The question to which you will be responding is posted below.  Remember to treat this as if you didn't get the question until tomorrow right before writing, meaning, don't go and do a bunch of extra research to collect tons of facts to dump in the essay.  Your goal is to EXPLAIN the facts and EXPLAIN HOW THEY SUPPORT your thesis, not to comply a list of facts.
