4/12/2018

Today we explored some more WWII related topics as we used some primary sources to determine what the U.S. government knew about the ongoing events of the Holocaust and when they knew it.  We then explored some opposing viewpoints regarding the war and the definition of American identity through some Dr. Seuss political cartoons.  We wrapped up by analyzing document sets discussing specific home front issues during the war.  Some classes had time to start the DocBlock over the Korematsu case document.  If you did not or didn't finish, the document can be found under Period 7.

Tomorrow is our first in class DBQ.  The questions will be drawn from what we have covered in class over the last week (New Deal, WWII).  Take advantage of the resources on the Writing Tips page of this site to review and prep!
