We started examining the American Revolution today, first with a Quiz over Chapter 5, then by analyzing and critiquing four different perspectives on the revolutionary nature of the Revolution written by four different historians.

We also took a good chunk of time to discuss the rough draft thesis statements.  Remember to submit your revision to the thesis board for your class period (submit it as a reply to your original thesis statement post) by the end of the school day tomorrow!  I will read and post comments tomorrow so that you have that feedback for our in class writing workshop in Friday.  Attached below and on the Writing Tips page you will find a idea sheet for writing thesis statements if you get stuck!

Also be sure to have Chapter 6 notes ready for tomorrow!
