I was back today after being out sick yesterday.  We discussed the French and Indian War and historical interpretation today, along with completing a DocBlock over the excerpts from Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" and answering questions in Content Block over a reading on Mercantilism.  We also spent a little time talking about the differences between writing for history compared to other writing you have done in the past.  Tonight you need to finish the Thesis Statement worksheet and be ready to discuss it tomorrow.  You also need to complete your reading notes for Chapter 6 for tomorrow.

If you were in third period yesterday, you will also need to complete the DocBlock over the document "The Great Awakening in New England" under Period 2 DocBlock Files and take notes from the Enlightenment and Great Awakening PowerPoint.  You will need to have these completed by next Wednesday, but you want to at least skim over the PowerPoint by Thursday because we will be referencing some of that information in class.
