Today we discussed immigration and urbanization in the late 1800's and the resulting urban problems and the rise of political machines.  We also explored some primary sources from muckraker photographers Jacob Riis and Lewis Hine.  Tomorrow we will continue talking about reform movements and reformers during this period and wrap up the major topics for Unit 6.  Don't forget, Chapter 25 is due Friday!
